Benefits of using digital technologies along with conventional ways of teaching and learning

The fast pace of innovations in data and internet driven technologies in past decade has influenced every aspect of our life. Let it be the way we start our day, plan our day, commute, eat, work, connect with people, interact with people, be social, transact and the way we learn new things. Conventional ways of teaching and learning are being infused with digital learning every other day. The way swiftly a classroom environment changing, especially when the technology affluent Gen Z being the student now (Gen Z is the newest generation born between year 1996-2015), it is a time to leave the teaching methods used to teach the Echo Boomers (the generation born between year 1977-94) and start infusing newer teaching and learning techniques based on emerging technologies. How lockdowns during Corona (COVID19) pandemic has paved way for Digital Transformation in Indian Education System

The infrastructure deficiency includes technology savvy teachers, robust internet connectivity, and availability of devices with teachers and students, professional apps and sites as an example. After a nationwide lockdown declared by Government of India in March 2020, more than 15 lakh institutions were closed and about 25 crore of school students were not able to go to their schools. From April 2020, as concept of online learning being necessary and unavoidable, all schools across the country have been scheduling classes on a daily basis. E-Schooling, a new normal for education in the midst of the present COVID19 pandemic

After COVID19 outbreak several countries across globe declared long term total lockdowns including closure of industries, businesses, educational institutions and domestic and international travel. In India, Government of India declared a nationwide lockdown from March 2020, which resulted in closure of more than 15 lakh educational institutions and about 25 crore of school students were not able to go to their schools. The fun filled life as we know just changed in few days. Due to closure of Schools overnight, students were freed from schools but remained confined to their homes, and parents who were too forced to work from home had to struggle with keeping children productive at home. During trauma of lockdown, while maintaining high level hygiene, using hand and surface sanitizers and tracking the spread of the virus via loud increasing counters on news channels, no one realized the sudden stress on that often neglected group, our Teachers. Looking at long repeated lockdowns,
